TWO Ceredigion residents have received the British Empire Medal.

Hazel Davies, of Bryngwyn, has been honoured by the Queen for voluntary and charitable services, while David Jones, of Felinfach Post Office, has been honoured for services to the community.

Both received their medals from TV’s Sara Edwards at a recent ceremony.
