PLASCRUG school has raised over £300 for Children in Need.

The Aberystwyth primary school invited pupls to dress as their favourite character from a television show or movie and school secretary, Mrs Tedaldi, dressed as Pudsey to judge who was best dressed.

The teachers also got involved – and a little wet – by holding a soak the teacher event, where the older children got the chance to throw wet sponges at the staff in the school yard for a donation.

The fundraising was organised by Year 6 pupils as their theme this half term is charities.

In all, the day raised over £300 for Children in Need.
