A raffle to raise funds for activities during Ysgol Aberporth’s centenary celebrations has raised over £800.
The winning ticket was drawn at the school on Thursday by four-year-old Harri Barnsley, currently the youngest pupil, and John Davies who is the oldest ex-pupil, starting at the school in 1930 at the age of five.
Events during the year will include a visit to the school by artist Rhiannon Roberts to help the children create an artwork for the school, a commemorative plaque will be unveiled, an open day, a play by the children, and a Gymanfa Ganu to complete the celebrations.
