A DETERMINED woman has made a heartfelt plea to find her biological father who potentially has links with Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Emma Owen, 28, from Mochdre, is seeking any information which might lead her to her father who she has never had the chance to meet.

Emma, who has two children of her own, only knows a few basic details about a man named Steven who may be her potential father but is keen to get in contact to confirm the situation one way or another.

The care home worker told the Cambrian News: “All I know is that his name is Steven, although he could be known as Steve or Ste I suppose.

“He has green eyes and he either lived or had family who lived in Blaenau.

“I do know he had a brother and there’s a chance they may have had a brush with the law when they were younger.

“I don’t have a huge amount of information to go off as my mum is very cagey and it seems to be a sensitive subject for.

“My mum was 17 when she fell pregnant with me so I’m guessing my father would be a similar age, between 45-50 but perhaps a little older.

“He would have lived or at least visited Mochdre or Colwyn Bay at some point,

“I’ve been told he had a friend who worked at a funeral directors or his friend’s family ran one.

“If anyone can help me in some small way I would be eternally grateful, if anything I’ve written rings a bell or sounds familiar please get in touch by emailing [email protected]
