THE crowning of Abergynolwyn Carnival queen has taken place.

The carnival queen for 2018-19 is Enlli Llwyd Puw.

She was crowned by Sioned Oliver (aunt) with page boy Elgan Puw and attendants Evie Hodges, Molly Hodges, Sylvie Morgan and flower girl Roxie Leigh Gregory.

The chair she is sitting in was made for the Meirionnydd Urdd Eisteddfod in 2014 by her grandfather, John Pugh, and won by Gruffudd Antur of Llanuwchllyn, who are all family members.
