The NHS is constantly under negative attack from all sides, but my experience was so absolutely positive. An ambulance arrived within 15 minutes of telephoning for help for severe abdominal pains. The ambulance men were caring and reassuring, and on arrival at Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth I went straight into A&E. Within minutes, various machines had been attached, bloods had been taken and both my husband and I had been put totally at ease. For the six hours we spent in Bronglais we received nothing but excellent, professional and personal care and we can only thank and praise everyone involved.
