One of my granddaughters arrived from Auckland, New Zealand at Heathrow last Wednesday.

The aircraft was full to capacity and she had provided herself with a mask, gloves and antibacterial wipes.

Many of the passengers had no such equipment.

After a six-hour stop-over in Los Angeles, she and the other passengers, including Americans and other nationalities, boarded a different aircraft full to capacity en route to Heathrow. The majority appeared to have no protective equipment with them.

On arrival no passenger was checked or monitored for Covid-19 or any other symptoms. No hand sanitiser could be seen in the airport.

That doesn’t bode well for continued spread of the virus.
