Madam,

Reference the correspondence relating to the Eye Clinic, in Aberystwyth, I am one of many who are still waiting for a follow-up appointment.

I was last seen in September 2016 and the doctor said he wanted to see me in three months as he suspected I may be developing Glaucoma, which is worrying to say the least.

A letter written by my GP has had no effect.

I drop into the clinic every couple of months to find out what the situation is and was advised at my last visit that those of us at the last quarter of 2016 are now coming up the list and should be seen later this year.

I am aware that the clinic has had staffing issues but if there is a prospective serious eye issue it should be addressed as a matter of urgency.
