BARMOUTH RNLI benefitted from a generous donation over the recent bank holiday weekend.

The Matthews family visited Barmouth Lifeboat Station on Sunday, 29 May, to make a donation to the town’s RNLI in memory of their parents Joan and Des Matthews from Wimbledon.

Mr and Mrs Matthews had been life-long supporters of the RNLI, and enjoyed many holidays in Barmouth, first coming to stay at the Jesuit House in Llanaber over 30 years ago.

The family still comes to Barmouth each year and look forward to enjoying the music at the Boathouse Rocks events held each Spring Bank Holiday.
