ABERYSTWYTH Ladies Circle have raised over £1,500 for two Bronglais Hospital wards after a successful fashion show.
The group organised the fashion show, which was held at the Conrah Hotel on Friday, 11 November, to raise vital funds for Gwenllian and Angharad wards at Bronglais Hospital.
Laura Heley, the chair of the Ladies Circle, had chosen the two Bronglais wards to benefit from the fundraising efforts after seeing the impact of ill-health on family friends and how important is the care provided by the NHS.
Laura said she was pleased with the fashion show and raffle and said the event had been well received by supporters.
She said: “The fashion show was a fantastic evening and many people have said what a great time they had. The models all looked superb and Sgarmes entertained us all with their amazing voices.
“Proceeds from the fashion show totalled £565 and, along with our grand raffle that was drawn on the night, we have raised over £1,500 for Gwenllian and Angharad wards at Bronglais Hospital."
