Madam,

May I, through the columns of your newspaper, thank Lark Davies and Cllr Katie Price for all their hard work in organising last Thursday’s switch-on of Barmouth’s Christmas lights and the late-night shopping event.

It was most probably one of the best evenings ever, enhanced by favourable weather and supported by almost every business on the high street.

The excellent turnout proved how popular this evening is.

Whilst, perhaps, not generating a huge amount of business for everyone, the event is a wonderful way of bringing the whole community together at Christmas time. Well done Lark and Katie, your endeavours in Barmouth are very much appreciated.
