The meeting of the Cambrian Coast Environmentalists explored the possibilities on 25 September.
Some of the key issues:
The immense capability for micro-hydro which in Cheshire had saved £2,000 per year in energy on one farm.
The potential of electric vehicles and cycles which were on show.
Most interestingly perhaps, the demonstration of a 10-year-old Rover 75 which was equipped and able to use liquid hydrogen or LPG.
Richard, a keen environmentalist from Porthmadog, gave a fascinating talk.
People criticised the use of hot tubs and diesel powered cars.
Any readers interested in micro-hydro are invited to contact Graham Tottle at tottles111@ gmail.com in November.
I hope your readers will be interested we will be holding a further meeting of the environmentalist in November.
