A DANCE fitness group in Tywyn has raised over £100 for Cancer Research.

The dancers, who meet at Neuadd Pendre, wore pink, brought donations and danced exhaustively in support of the charity.

Sarah Gibbons, dance fitness instructor, explained why they wanted to raise money for this particular charity.

She said: “Most of us know people whose lives have been touched by cancer.

“It is particularly hard when it is a family member or a close friend.

“Many of us ran in the Race for Life in Aberystwyth on Sunday, 13 May, and my dance fitness group were keen to support the charity further.

“We hope the money raised will go towards helping in the fight against cancer.”
