AS Storm Ciara batters the Welsh coast today (Sunday), Natural Resources Wales has issued a flood warning for Ceredigion – and disruption has been confirmed to rail and bus journeys.

The Met Office yesterday upgraded the weather warning from yellow to amber, with gusts of 70-8mph expected on western coasts.

Natural Resources Wales has issued a Flood Alert for Ceredigion coast, with “local coastal flooding probable for parts of the Welsh coast along Cardigan Bay on Sunday”.

“Check your flood risk and find out if you are eligible for free flood warnings on our website or by phoning Floodline 0345 988 1188.”
