A DOLGELLAU resident has marked her 97th birthday with friends and family.

Gwen Jones celebrated her landmark birthday along with friends from the Age Well whist group of Gwynedd a Môn Age Cymru, who meet at the rugby club, including Patric Martin who presented Gwen with a bunch of flowers.
