ABERYSTWYTH Arts Centre is getting ready for a busy 2016.
As well as the Wardens’ pantomime, there’s more theatre, music and comedy to look forward to in the next few months.

Music Theatre Wales’ The Devil Inside (23 February) is a new opera by Stuart MacRae and Louise Welsh. The gritty, glittery,
Faustian fairytale is set firmly in the twenty-first century. Inspired by The Bottle Imp, a short story by Robert Louis Stevenson, this new opera contains many elements of Stevenson’s The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
There’s comedy from David O’Doherty (23 February), Mark Watson (10 March) and a variety of comedian’s at the monthly Comedy Club.
Windsongs of the Blessed Bay (28 February) is a co-production with Taliesin Arts Centre. Memory, myth and history collide in this compelling tale of a brave young Welsh woman, blind since birth, who sets out from Pembrokeshire’s St Brides Bay in her dead grandfather’s fishing boat to make the great catch he had always dreamed of.
Jez Danks is back with Dai Versity (3 March). Jez tells the story of a man who has decided that it’s never too late to change - but will it be for the better?
Join the party with the Magic of Motown (4 March) as this scintillating show celebrates its 10th birthday.
50 Shades of Burlesque (18 March) is a completely new genre for the arts centre. Relish the chance to see burlesque all-stars as never seen before. Over-18s only.
And some famous faces come to the town in April and May. Lulu (12 April) will be performing hits from her 50-year career, including Shout.
And Strictly Come Dancing pro dancers, Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe have joined forces for their show, Strictly’s A Touch of Class (25 May).
