DESCENDANTS of the men imprisoned at Frongoch 101 years ago returned to the scene on Monday to commemorate the Easter Rising.
Many of the Irish involved in the uprising were imprisoned and sent to Frongoch, a former distillery near Bala, to spend their time in imprisonment there.
A bouquet of flowers was laid at the memorial stone where the Irish and Welsh national anthems were played by the Cambria Band.
