Students across Wales are this morning collecting their GCSE results.

Top GCSE grades in Wales rose on last year with 62.5 per cent of pupils achieving A* to C, an increase of 0.3 percentage points compared with 2024.

New GCSEs to align with the reformed Curriculum for Wales will start being phased in from September.
