We are nurse practitioners working in the Arfon locality employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. A large part of our role involves supporting people with COPD in their own homes, and trying to prevent hospital admissions.

COPD, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, describes a group of lung conditions that make it difficult to empty air out of the lungs because your airways have been narrowed. World COPD Day 2017 will take place on 15 November and our community nurse practitoners will be having a stand in Morrisons Bangor to increase awareness of the conditions. We will be offering a free mini breath test and can screen you for COPD.
