Madam,

The issue of drugs and drug barons sending children into Wales, targeting the vulnerable, is a terrible thing.

Schools, I think, should educate pupils more on the dangers of this. The laws need to take this very seriously and give much more severe sentences.

I have seen at close hand what these drugs can do. They ruin young lives, altering not only the mind but also the body.

It is the parents also who suffer, seeing their once pure child succumb to the ravages of drugs. This can also totally ruin these kids’ lives.

I would have a task force to totally target this blight on our streets. Our children are the future of the country and we need to protect them.
