Gwynedd Council has congratulated students picking up their A Level results across the county today.
Cllr Dewi Jones, Cabinet Member for Education, and Gwern ap Rhisiart, Head of Education, commented on today’s results.
Cllr Jones said: "It’s a great pleasure to congratulate the county’s pupils on reaching such an important milestone today. Their success is a clear reflection of their dedication and perseverance.
“I also wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to the teachers and school staff who have played a key role in preparing them for their examinations and qualifications.
"All the best to everyone as they move on to their new chapter and exciting opportunities for the future."
Mr ap Rhisiart added: “Once again, it gives me great pleasure to express my pride in the results achieved by our schools in Gwynedd, with the A Level, AS and vocational qualifications results. Congratulations to the students and their teachers on their success.
"I extend a special thank you to the schools and teachers for their continued professionalism and dedication, to the students for their considerable efforts and to their families for their continued support. The contribution of each of them is key to the success we are noting today."
The above comments, the council say, relate to Gwynedd secondary schools only, not colleges.
They said no information will be released about individual schools.
