An Aberystwyth man is running the Cardiff Half Marathon for Ceredigion charity DASH.
The charity offers many young people and their families in Ceredigion valuable respite time and wonderful leisure activities.
For over 40 years, parents and carers have been given time to recharge their batteries and disabled children and young people get time of their own for personal, social and creative development in a welcoming and fun environment.
The charity is very much dependent on contributions and donations and Deian Creunant is planning to run the half-marathon in October while raising funds for DASH.
Deian said: “Over the years I have seen at first hand the importance of the work DASH does in Ceredigion and how valuable the service it offers is for county residents.
“The schemes that DASH run not only give families much-needed respite, but also help the young people supported grow as individuals instilling in them confidence, self-esteem and independent living skills.”
The Cardiff Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, 6 October.
