Four Covid-related deaths have been recorded in west Wales today, according to the latest figures.

2,485 new cases have been recorded today according to data released by Public Health Wales, with the national rate of infection now standing at 551.0 cases per 100,000 population.

40 new cases have been recorded in Ceredigion with 103 in Carmarthenshire and 61 in Pembrokeshire.

Powys has recorded 73 cases today with Gwynedd recording 75.

10 suspected Covid-19 deaths have been recorded today across Wales with four of those deaths reported in the Hywel Dda Health Board of Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire, taking the total number of fatalities since the start of the pandemic to 509.

Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board has recorded 1,023 Covid-19 related deaths since March 2020 with 68 in Powys.
