No new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Ceredigion in the latest figures released by Public Health Wales today.

Today’s figures, which account for the 24 hours up to 9am on Friday, show there were no new Covid-related deaths.

The total number of deaths in the country remains at 5,569, while 92 new cases were recorded across the country, taking the overall tally to 213,091.

While there were no new cases in Ceredigion, elsewhere in the Hywel Dda Health Board region Carmarthenshire reported four and Pembrokeshire one.

There were two new cases in Powys and three in Gwynedd.

According to Public Health Wales, 2,179,830 people in Wales have received a first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, and 1,237,123 have also had their second dose.

As of the week ending 30 May, 402,974 vaccines had been administered by Hywel Dda Health Board, 145,317 by Powys Teaching Health Board, and 726,331 by Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board which covers Gwynedd.
