Over 1,300 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Wales today – with three new deaths.

Latest figures released this lunchtime by Public Health Wales, which cover a 48-hour period up to 9am on Sunday, show that 1,364 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded across Wales.

Of those new cases, 15 were recorded in Ceredigion, which is the lowest figure for a Welsh county.

Carmarthenshire record 60 cases over the weekend with Pembrokeshire recording 34; Gwynedd, 47 and Powys, 38.

Daily figures released on Sunday showed that Ceredigion recorded six cases; Carmarthenshire, 36; Pembrokeshire, 15; Gwynedd, 28 and Powys, 28.

Three new deaths have been recorded todayacross Wales, taking the total number of suspected Covid-19-related deaths since the start of the pandemic to 5,629.

Wales moved into alert level zero on Saturday, with most restrictions being lifted on businesses and the amount of people able to meet.

Face mask restrictions in shops and public places remain in place.
