A TALGARREG mother has presented Glangwili Hospital’s children’s ward with over £1,400 to thank the team for the care they provided her daughter.

Sarah Evans ran the Cardiff half marathon in October to raise money for the hospital’s Play Services Team at Cilgerran Ward after her three-year-old daughter Cadi was looked after by the team during frequent visits.

The money will help contribute to the costs of refurbishing the outdoor play area at Cilgerran Ward.

Sarah said: “I would like to thank my family, friends and the whole community for their generous donations. I would also like to thank all staff on Cilgerran Ward, who have supported us as a family during our visits.”
