Madam,
It was good to see our MP Ben Lake on his feet during the Westminster Hall debate on State Pension Equalisation for Women Born in the 1950s, speaking in support of the 5,000 1950s-born women in Ceredigion. It was heartening to see him challenge the Pensions Minister and argue that we are entitled to the State Pensions we paid into all our working lives.
Ceredigion WASPI has been working with Ben Lake’s office to run a series of advice sessions for 1950s women wishing to make a formal complaint about the lack of notice of losing up to six years of our pensions, for many of us over £40,000.
