Pwllheli High Street closed for over 45 minutes on Tuesday, 17 December, to allow emergency services attend to an incident.
The Welsh Ambulance Service responded to a call about someone having fallen in the street.
North Wales Police also attended the scene to provide support.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at approximately 11.10am to reports of a patient who had fallen in High Street, Pwllheli.
"We sent two emergency ambulances and one patient was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd.”
The road was closed off at around 12.37pm and was reopened at 1.21pm.
There has been no update on the condition of the patient.
