Madam,
We would like address the subject of the Tywyn History trail walks which we have enjoyed as a group over the last few weeks.
We would like to recommend other Cambrian News readers follow the trails available here in Tywyn.
Whilst we are residents of Tywyn and the surrounding area, we still learnt a lot from the leaflets, the information boards and also snippets of knowledge from fellow group members as we did each part of the trail.
The trail is in two parts; we followed trail one on our first session and this took roughly two hours as a mixed mobility group, and then for the second trail we split into two sessions and each took about an hour and a half.
The free trail leaflets are available in various shops and cafes around Tywyn and also at the library, and the information boards are dotted around, some of which are enhanced by attractive planters.
We hope many other readers get the same enjoyment and pleasure out of the trails as we have and we would like to thank the Tywyn & District History Society for their hard work in researching and presenting the trails so well.
Yours etc, Joanna Houseman, Project and Mentoring Coordinator, on behalf of Tywyn Community Wellbeing Project.
