Madam,

I have recently spent a few weeks in Bronglais Hospital, after falling and breaking my hip, and after short a spell in ICU.

I have to thank all for wonderful care given by doctors, nursing staff and the whole team in Ceredig ward, plus all staff on Y Banwy ward. I received first-class treatment. The special honours go to Ellie Anna and one must not forget Lucas. And the physios and those in occupational therapy. Everyone was great.

First, of course, I should have said a special thank you to the First Response and Ambulance teams. A great bunch of guys and girls. That started me off on the road to recovery after my fall.

On 15 May I was back home, after being transferred to what one could almost call a five-star hotel - my rehabilitation home, Min-y-MÔr, Aberaeron, where you get meals, and cleaning and laundry done, with such great care and helpful staff.

I know where I can go if I need help, now that I am of the good age of 83 years.

Yours etc,

Joyce Wiggall, Wellington Gardens, Aberaeron.
