How very generous that the Lunchbox Café in Barmouth was open to the lonely this Christmas. And not for the first time - they have done this for a few years now. What Christmas spirit! This is what Christmas is all about.

How about Gwynedd Council showing some Christmas spirit? After the boost of £8.2m, they should receive, surely they don’t need to put up our rates this year? Let’s have some Cheer.

• On the way to Menai, I noticed one of these life-saving defibrillator devices on the side of the road, no doubt for the public to use.

This got me to thinking; I would not know what to do with this life-saving device, other than to run with it to the person needing it. And I’m sure that would be too late, wouldn’t it?

So would it not be frugal to let more people know what to do with it.

This is getting to me; the idea that you have a life-saving device available but not have a clue what to do with it.

Please someone enlighten me with this crucial knowledge that others need too.
