Madam,

Do those, like Gwynedd Council or the science and the arts communities, who say that we’re better off in Europe because of the grants we get from them realise where that grant money comes from?

Of the £50m per day that Britain contributes to the EU, £32m is given back to be spent how the EU tells us to spend it. The remaining £18m a day stays there to be absorbed as the bureaucrats see fit.

What could our councils, scientists, artists, not to mention our NHS, do with a share of that £18m per day? And how many public toilets could be kept open in Gwynedd? Are we really better off in Europe?
