I take it that those who support Brexit do not intend going on holiday to an overseas European country any time soon. To do so would reek of hypocrisy. They can’t on the one hand say “Yes, we like to share and enjoy your beaches, climate, mountains, lakes, ski slopes, cuisine, culture, gites, landmarks, heritage and wine, but on the other hand we don’t want to be your partners in shaping the future of Europe; we don’t really like you a lot and we don’t want to know about your problems. You see, we’re all right, Jacques!”
