Madam,

What a lot of killjoys some of your readers are. Instead of rejoicing in the first closed-roads rally being held in Ceredigion, they carp on about global warming and pollution, and I bet they take foreign holidays on gas-guzzling jets.

There are far more devastating threats to our environment than a road rally. My only regret is that the first event wasn’t a motorcycle road race. Maybe next year?
