Motorists and pedestrians are being warned to take extra care tomorrow morning with forecasters predicting widespread ice in mid and north Wales.
A weather warning for ice has been issued for much of mid and north Wales tonight and tomorrow morning with meteorologists predicting some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces, especially those that have not been treated.
Issuing the yellow warning, the Met Office say that an area of rain is expected to sweep over much of mid Wales and the Midlands tonight which will be followed by low surface temperatures which is likely to lead to icy stretches forming in areas that aren’t treated.
The warning is in place from 12.15am on Friday until 10am.
