Madam,

I write as we are fast approaching what is rightly described as the most important decision we will have to make, on whether we remain in or leave the EU. According to recent polls, Cameron’s and Osborne’s Britain Stronger in Europe (BSE) ‘project fear’ seems to be frightening voters to sell their souls to the EU juggernaut.

Remember, there is no such thing as status quo. The EU Institution’s only intention is to control everything we do. They can afford to, they’re unelected and unaccountable. Why should they care what we think or want? Where is the Remain group getting their information from? Civil servants who want to keep in favour? Banks want to remain. Why? They wanted Britain to join the ERM and the Euro. Every financial crisis, from the Great Depression to the 2008 crisis, is down to banks.

It has been reported that £670m was lost to fraud last year, mainly in Romania and Bulgaria. EU apologists say “Actually, it’s not fraud in the EU institutions, it’s in the members states”, as though that is to make us accept the corruption in the EU!

Cameron has said if we leave the EU, war and genocide will break out. Will it? Which country in the EU is going to go to war? To make such a statement Cameron must know who the countries are. Why doesn’t he tell us who is threatening war? We do have a war, on terrorism - thanks to open borders. The recent report is of a nett immigration figure to the UK of over 330,000. That is about four and a half times the population of Ceredigion. With the best will in the world we can’t cope with this sort of numbers. Cameron says 820,000 people will lose their jobs within two years if we leave. Where has this come from? He must know where these jobs are going to be lost. So why doesn’t he tell us? I’m just surprised that Cameron and Osborne haven’t said, if we leave the EU we will suffer the 10 plagues of Egypt, starting with ‘water turning to blood’ and ending with ‘death of all the firstborn’.

It’s a shame so many fall for this ‘project fear’. If we remain within the EU, be prepared eventually to lose our identity. For we will. That is the only fear to have in this referendum.

Yours etc
