POLICE are “growing increasingly concerned” for the safety of a 68-year-old Machynlleth woman who has been missing for over a week.
Multi-agency searches continued last week, centred on the Dyfi river and Dyfi valley, in the hunt for Agnes de Graaf.
She was last seen between 4pm and 5.30pm on Sunday, 11 September,with the alarm raised the following day.
Since her disappearance, police, HM Coastguard, mountain rescue teams, and the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, have all been involved in the efforts to find her.
Police said the searches continued on Sunday, 18 September - a week after her disappearance.
Agnes is described as five foot eight inches tall, of a slim build and with short, mousey, greying hair.
She was last seen wearing light and dark blue striped loose trousers and a dark coloured T-shirt.
Anyone with information that could help police find her is asked to call police immediately on 101 quoting incident 93 of 12 September.
