An investigation has been launched into the death of a man at Parc, near Bala.

The man died following an incident on Thursday, 25 February.

The Health and Safety Executive has been notified and confirmed they are working with police to find out more.

A HSE spokesperson said: “HSE is aware of the fatal incident in Parc and is currently working with North Wales Police to establish further details.”

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 2.35pm on Thursday, 25 February to an address in Y Parc near Bala, to reports of a medical emergency.

"We attended with two emergency ambulances where we were assisted by colleagues in the police. No further details are available."

The name of the man has not been released.

Llandderfel councillor Elwyn Edwards said: “I send my condolences to his family and friends. I’ve known the family for a long time, I remember when he was born.

“It has been a huge shock to the area. He was very well known and very well liked. The whole area is in shock at what has happened.

“I know a lot of people have sent their support to the family. It is such a tragedy.”
