Re your article (‘Anger as campeters leave poo in dunes’, Cambrian News, 7 June).

While staying at Black Rock Sands in a motorhome we saw several people, men, woman and children, going into the dunes with tissues. These were day-trippers. Motorhomes and campervans have their own toilets. It’s so easy to blame motorhome owners because we are not using the campsite.

We reported what we saw to the warden on the beach. The reason the toilets get blocked is there are not enough toilets to cope with visitors on a busy, sunny weekend. Also some people don’t want to walk to the toilets. They think it’s easier to use the dunes.
