A HARLECH man has returned from cycling over 1,000 miles to raise funds for charity.

Joe Patton took on the famous Land’s End to John o’ Groats route in aid of Ty Gobaith.

Joe, who is no stranger to fundraising, said: “It has been nearly 10 years since I first started to raise funds for Ty Gobaith which began when working at Bangor University where I used to organise various fund raising events.

“Recently in retirement I still do whatever I can to continue supporting this great cause, I am keen to encourage people from my home town of Harlech and neighbouring villages to support this local charity.”

Along his journey Joe also created short stories for children.
