A KIND-HEARTED little girl from Blaenau Ffestiniog has gone the extra mile to help those less fortunate than herself.

Elin Haf Owen, 5, lopped off a length of her long blonde hair in order to donate it to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which provides real hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

Elin’s grandmother Morwena Owen could not be prouder of her granddaughter’s sacrifice.

“She loved her hair, it was all the way down past her waist,” Morwena told the Cambrian News.
