ABERYSTWYTH Ladies Circle is appealing for sponsors for a fashion show as the organisation looks to raise cash for Bronglais Hospital.
The Ladies Circle is raising money for the hospital’s Gwenllian Maternity Unit and Angharad Children’s Ward through the fashion show, which will be held on 11 November at the Conrah Hotel.
Laura Heley, the chair of Aberystwyth Ladies Circle, said the group was hoping for local businesses or individuals to sponsor the event to help cover costs and ensure that as much money as possible is donated to Bronglais Hospital.
She said: “We would really appreciate businesses becoming a sponsor of the event by helping towards the costs. Any contribution that sponsors can make to our event costs will mean more money going to Bronglais Hospital.”
As part of the event, which will see entertainment from Sgarmes, people who attend will be given a gift bag and that will include details of all sponsors and people who have contributed to the event.
Laura said the Ladies Circle was keen to support Bronglais because of the vital role it plays in the local community.
She said: “The reason for choosing Bronglais Hospital is we know how important it is to the local community and in the past we have had a good response from the public when fundraising for them."
Anyone who would like to support the fashion show, or buy tickets which are available for £12.50, can contact the Ladies Circle on Facebook, emailing [email protected], calling 01970 822085 or tickets are also available from Cactws or Dress Rail.
