Santa came to Lampeter last week and was greeted with a large crowd.
The man in red visited the town as the traditional Lampeter Late Night Opening and Christmas Fayre returned – after having to be cancelled in 2020.
The evening was full of festive joy and plenty on offer for young and old.
Santa began his journey through town at Hafan Deg care home, and stood with Mayor Selwyn Walters, Lois Wakeman (Chair of Lampeter Chamber of Trade) and Lampeter Town Crier Ivor Williams as they opened the event.
Musical entertainment throughout the event was provided by Côr Cwmann, Lampeter Ukulele Club, John Frith, Yeller Dog String Band. Stepp Up Puppeteers entertained the children as they waited to enter Santa’s grotto at The Mustard Seed Cafe.
Marchnad Llambed ensured there was a delightful provision of market stalls that evening too, creating a wonderful Christmas market vibe that was enjoyed by all.
