St Padarn’s
THE morning of Friday, 8 April, saw a number of parishioners hard at work decorating the church for a very special wedding the following afternoon. The result was magnificent, with lovely floral displays leading the way from the porch and down the nave greeting the congregation and the bride. The wedding itself, conducted by the Ven Hywel Jones, saw the vicar of the parish the Rev Andrew Loat, marrying Rev Heather Evans - also a minister in the benefice of Llanbadarn Fawr, Capel Bangor, Elerch and Penrhyncoch. A number of clergy assisted in the service and the organist was Darryl Walters, organist and choir master at St Padarn’s.
