Church Services

SUNDAY, 4 September - Llandysul: 8am Cymun; 11am Family Service; Tregroes: 7pm Community Singing. Wednesday - Llandysul: 10.30am Communion. The fifth Sunday Service was held at Llandysul Church and to end the service a picnic was held in the Memorial Park, with games. Everyone enjoyed the lovely sunshine as well.

Mothers Union

ON FRIDAY, 23 September at Llanfihangel ar Arth hall, the 140th Deanery Celebration will be held, with a buffet at 6pm.

Bore Coffi’r Eglwys

AR fore Gwener, 19 Awst cawsom fore coffi llwyddiannus a hwylus iawn yn y neuadd, gan godi £130. Diolchir am bob cyfraniad, cefnogaeth a chymorth mewn unrhyw fodd a fawr werthfawrogwn at gronfa’r twr.

Show

THE annual Llandysul Show will be held on Saturday, 3 September. Please join us also in the evening dance at 8pm with Bryn Fôn.

Stock Judging

LLANDYSUL Show held their YFC stock judging event at Glaspant, Beulah on Tuesday, 23 August, and it was a pleasure to attend the successful event and to be present at a spectacular venue.

Thanks to the Davies family of Glaspant for their hospitality and a supreme venue. Thanks also to Angus Wyse, the vice chairman for planning the evening; Mr and Mrs Andrew Tyler and Huw Williams for sponsorship; to the judge Iestyn Davies, Trelech and to everyone who supported this special event.

The YFC dairy stock judging results are as follows - Under 26: 1 Beca Reed, Penparc; 2 Owain Davies, Llanllwni; 3 Elen Lloyd-Jones, Pontsian; 4 Liz Harries, Pontsian; 5 Fflur Davies, Penparc. Under 18: 1 Ieuan James, Troedyraur; 2 Gethin Evans, Caerwedros; 3 Beca Jenkins, Pontsian; 4 Osian Davies, Caerwedros. Adults: Bethan James, Glynarthen.
