THERE will be bingo in aid of Severn-E-N-Able Group, New-town, on Wednesday, 24 August, doors open 7.30pm, eyes down 8pm at the rugby club. 50p entry for adults includes tea/coffee and biscuit.Millennium GardenLLANIDLOES Millennium Garden committee is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Green Flag award once again this year. Scarecrows for Air Ambulance

THE Upper Severn Scarecrows raised £1521.20 for the Air Ambulance and the money has been handed over.As a further fundraiser some of the scarecrows were at Llangurig show on Saturday, 13 August again aiming to collect donations for the Air Ambulance.

Tadpoles

TADPOLES is Christian fun for babies, pre-school children and their parents, carers, with song time, story time, crafts and activities and snack.This will be on Wednesday, 7 September, 21 September, 5 October and 12 October at St Idloes Church Hall. 10am-11.30am.

Gardening Club Show

LLANIDLOES and District Gardening Club are holding their annual members flower and vegetable show on Saturday, 27 August, at the Community Centre at 2pm. Open class for non-members-vase of mixed flowers and open class for children.

Coffee Morning

THERE will be a table top coffee morning at Chatwood, 6 Long-bridge Street, (where the HSBC bank used to be), on Saturday, 27 August from 10am till 1pm, to raise funds for both Llanidloes Day Centre and Macmillan Cancer Support.
