RESIDENTS in Blaenau Ffestiniog are being asked if they know a good place to hide a corpse.
There is no need to panic though, it is simply the team of the highly- rated show Craith (Hidden) looking for locations for the second series of the hit detective show set in the heart of Snowdonia.
Filmed back-to-back in Welsh and English, the first series of the suspenseful physiological drama tells the story of detective DI Cadi John who returns to north Wales to care for her ailing father.
However, when the body of a young woman is found in a local river, Cadi’s world - and the world around her - was changed forever.
The show received rave reviews from critics across the UK with many viewers desperate to find out what comes next.
Now a selection of Ffestiniog residents have received a letter from a location manager looking for places to film the next instalment of the S4C/BBC Wales show.
“This is a brief letter to ask for your co-operation with out request to find suitable locations for the second series of Craith (Hidden),” the letters states.
“Our intentions are to commence filming in March/April 2019 and we are searching for all sorts of locations, such as family homes, a cafe, shop, garage etc.
“This is a detective series therefore there will be a location required where we find a murder victim.”
The letter goes on to state that all locations used will be paid a fee and that the series will be broadcast on S4C towards the end of 2019.
