Machynlleth will hold a Christmas Market on Sunday, 22 December, and most of the shops will be open for business.

There will be a range of stalls including local artists and artisans in the Wynnstay.

Charles Dark, of the Wynnstay Hotel, said: "Machynlleth is known for its weekly market.

"Some of the regular traders wanted to have stalls on the Sunday before Christmas, many of their customers were asking them for it."
