CÔR Meibion Machynlleth hit the right notes at the semi-finals of Côr Cymru, winning the male voice choirs category.

One of the adjudicators, Maria Guinand said: “They had a great musical instrument, a collection of big voices, a strong foundation and the sound blended beautifully.”

They will now compete in the final in Aberystwyth on Sunday, 9 April. They will feature on Côr Cymru on Sunday evening on S4C.
