A TYWYN man has completed the London Marathon and raised over £1,000 for a charity set up in memory of a local man.

On Sunday, 24 April, Dylan Jones, 40, took on the 26-mile challenge to raise funds for the Toby Edwards Memorial Fund.

Dylan said: “I’d like to give a massive thank you to everyone for their donations and for supporting me over the last few months; in particular, Bro Dysynni Running Club for their help and support and also Gwen Jenkins for helping me with sponsorship.

“Toby, who sadly died four years ago now, was very well known and liked in Tywyn and these donations to the Toby Edwards Memorial Fund will go to Wales Air Ambulance and to local children’s charities.
